Star bores.....

Went and saw the new Ben Stiller movie Tropic Thunder yesterday and I have to let you all know that it kinda sux. Why do I have to tell you that? Because I ain't got jack sh!t else to write about on this blog that's why so sit back and read on......
It starts off with Ben Stiller's character in a fake movie trailer and .....who cares ,take my word for it and wait for it to come onto DVD. There are a few good laughs but over all it's poop. I went to the 11:30 session and could hardly keep my eyes open!! 11:30 is pretty late i hear you all cry..it was 11:30 AM for gods sake.
On the flip side I did see Hellboy 2 a few days ago also and that was a wicked movie.I like Hellboy.It was a little freaky in some parts but still cool.

Looks kinda cool huh? Don't know about the flip flops and running in them but I love the helmet.
If these guys had been on Endor the Ewoks would have ended up as sushi.

About a good band which ended 8 yrs ago and bad "bands"still going....

Okay I'm back in black.....First bit of business I want to talk about is a band called Union with ex Kiss member Bruce Kulick and ex Motley Crue member John Corabi. A good friend of mine Mr X hooked me up with Union's albums and I was a bit worried about what I was about to hear to say the least.
I had heard of the band from being a big Kiss fan and huge fan of the time Corabi spent with Motley Crue (I am led to believe I am the only one) but wasn't to hyped to listen to Union, their band logo looks pretty lame, anyway I chucked it on and was blown away.
I still think Corabi has one of the best voices in metal and Kulick is a legend ( he is a lucky man as he has had the great fortune of meeting me and I have the photo to prove it.)
I am not going into the whole bands history because I ain't too sure of it myself but I think they went from 1997 to 2000 so I am only 8 or so years behind.
Anyway if you are stuck in a time warp like me and haven't heard them yet give them a go because there is nothing like getting into a band that you know aren't around any more...sweet.
Although I did read a rumour that Corabi could be the next singer for Velvet Revolver which would be awesome.

One more thing I want to bring up are tribute bands and how much they suck the big one( check out my youtube section). I have seen a couple back in my younger days and I am quite ashamed I put money into these losers pockets. Playing covers in a band is alright it's how you learn but when you go to the extreme of dressing like a band and copying their moves that makes you a sad little turd and yet somewhere near you a guns'n'roses, motley crue or kiss tribute band is playing and getting paid to do so which really sux.

I'm BACKKKKK. Well not really because I don't have anything to post but thought I should at least let all my many readers know what is going on with this blog.
I must admit I am really having trouble with finding anything that is worth posting but I have also been kinda busy the last couple of weeks.
